Re: errors in File:Young Native Fiddlers.jpg edit
The revision history shows that you went back and corrected some things. Still remaining: yes, that is the Charles W. Davis Concert Hall. However, the coords point to a vacant lot behind Foodland downtown. That particular spot is the place that Google Maps usually places the label for Fairbanks on its maps. Also, the banner on the wall shows that this took place during the Festival of Native Arts, which is typically held at the very end of February and/or very beginning of March. Therefore, the date is also questionable. These aren't the kids who work with Bill Stephens at the Morris Thompson Center every Saturday morning, which is the group most folks associate with the term "Young Native Fiddlers". It's possible to dig up past lineups and figure out who and when, though I dunno if I have that kind of time.RadioKAOS (talk) 08:33, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments. I'll take it down for now and see if I can find the right date. I just ran across the photo on my computer. That's good to know about the coordinates!AnaSoc (talk) 23:43, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
