My Wikipedia Block

How it happened

I was banned on Wikipedia for being a puppet master. Then, I did not know it was against the rules. I used the second account to weigh in on the Deletion Argument on the 2024 North Carolina Libertarian Presidential Primary.

Reaction

I was shocked. I tried understanding what I did wrong, and when I learned, I tried saying my little brother made the account. Of course that didn’t work, and I ended up letting the truth out. They said they glad I admitted to my mistakes, and being unblocked would be available to me in 6 months (September 18, 2024). I admit, how I handled the situation? That was wrong. I was 100% wrong, and I wish I handled it better. In the past, I also had arguments, which was not good for collaboration in the Wikipedia Community. I was clearly being immature online, and I apologize for all of that.

March 18-September 18

For a week, I stopped using Wikimedia. I was mad at myself and knew I wouldn’t be able to edit Wikipedia for a while. Suddenly, I then realized I wasn’t blocked on any Wikimedia site. I could still contribute! I took myself to Wikimedia Commons, and did what I loved: Photography. If it was taking a picture of a switch controller in the dark when I was half asleep, or uploading pictures that my Boss and best friend, George Micro and I took, I have been enjoying it.

I have also been on Wikipedia Simple English. A lot of the information isn’t up to date, so I try to fix it. I’ve lately been just editing primaries.

Since the Wikipedia Block, i got in trouble for copyright on Commons. To that, I apologize. I could’ve learned more about Copyright, but I didn’t. It’s my fault, and it will never happen again.

As of the Wikipedia Block, I know what I did. I am extremely sorry for it. I can’t wait to be unblocked, so I can start editing again, and improving many different pages! I’m already thinking about updating the Libertarian Primaries Page, Puerto Plata Page, Luca Crusifino Page, Sol Ruca Page, Centenarian Page, Kyrie Irving Page, and more!
