English: The old Austin County Jail in Bellville, Texas, United States. Fashioned in the Romanesque Revival style by Pauly Jail Building Company of St. Louis, it was constructed by F. B. and W. S. Hull Builders of Dallas in 1896. The building was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1976 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 12, 1980. The building is now the Austin County Jail Museum. |
