reason

Abzeronow On February 3, 2024, after three months of discussion, I received the Wikimedia Commons autopatrolled flag for a three-month trial period. Tomorrow this period ends and in this regard I ask you to consider the issue of issuing the flag on a permanent basis. Over these three months, I have re-uploaded hundreds of photos from various sites to a higher resolution. Thank you. MasterRus21thCentury (talk) 17:27, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Filipny[edit]

Im an editor and a pending changes reviewer of the Polish Wikipedia. I mostly visit Commons when looking for pictures for my articles. I would like to request the autopatrol right mostly to be able to overwrite pictures posted by others. Im familiar with COM:OW. Thank you. Filipny (talk) 12:40, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pythoncoder[edit]

I'm mostly active on the English Wikipedia; while I only have about 300 edits on Commons, I would like to continue to be able to upload new higher-quality versions of files as needed without having to go through the time-consuming COM:OWR process. I wanted to upload a higher-resolution version of File:Lorde_Pure_Heroine.png taken from Apple Music; while I recognize that I could submit an overwrite request for that file specifically, I hope my past uploads will show my understanding of when it is appropriate to overwrite files. Thank you. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 20:01, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tungsten[edit]

I would like to request the autopatrol right mostly to be able to overwrite pictures posted by others in cases where there are e.g. higher resolution images available. Previous examples: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ecce_homo_by_Antonio_Ciseri_(1).jpg, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Suomineito_(Isto).jpg, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:%C3%89douard_Manet_-_Le_repos.jpg . AutoWikiBrowser access[edit]

Dactylantha[edit]

I would like to apply a deletion notice in bulk to a category of images that I am appealing to be removed due to incorrect copyright status - Category:Images_from_Auckland_Museum_marked_with_cultural_permissions as per my request at Commons:Deletion_requests/Category:Images_from_Auckland_Museum_marked_with_cultural_permissions. There are ~2500 images requiring this notice as per the deletion request requirements, and OpenRefine seems untenable as a batch editing option as the reconciliation service currently has a bug that has stopped me from doing any editing to that category. Of course, if there is an alternative to AutoWikiBrowser I would be happy to hear it - anything is better than copy and pasting 2500 times! Thank you. Dactylantha (talk) 01:47, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dactylantha, you could request that job to be done on Commons:Bots/Work requests. --Achim55 (talk) 18:31, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Felix QW[edit]

I would like to request the filemover right in order to rename botanical images that have, for instance, misspelled generic names or epithets. If granted, I would also be happy to help with any backlog in this area, but would stick to uncontroversial corrections of errors or misspellings. Thank you. Pedro Henrique Batistella (Projeto Mais+)[edit]

Hi! My name is Pedro and I'm working on the Project Mais Teoria da História na Wiki. We lauched some contests here on Commons this year and will lauch more, so to improve our workflow we would like to use the Campaign mode for the Upload Wizard. That's why I'm requesting this permission, to create and configure our campaigns. I have technical experience with MediaWiki, so "how to use" probably will not be a problem. Open for questions and thanks for your help. Best regards Pedro Henrique Batistella (Projeto Mais+) (talk) 21:58, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Pedro Henrique Batistella (Projeto Mais+): , Your account is pretty much new and I do not see much involvement. Could you please tell us how much you know about Upload Wizard campaigns and if you been through the guidelines? ─ Aafī (talk) 20:44, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done no response since more than a week. ─ Aafī (talk) 21:03, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MiguelAlanCS[edit]

I need this right because at Wikiproyecto LGBT+ in the Wikipedia in Spanish we are going to start an internal campaign to upload photos taken by members of the Wikiproject. Thank you. MiguelAlanCS (talk) 19:21, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @MiguelAlanCS: Could you confirm that you have been through upload wizard guidelines and understand why this namespace works? Best regards, ─ Aafī (talk) 20:41, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. I confirm that I know what it is about. The objective is to create a permanent upload campaign among members of the Wikiproject and new users, and also to call on everyone to make efforts to release audiovisual material. MiguelAlanCS (talk) 21:00, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

iMahesh[edit]

Hello, I have been doing multiple campaigns in our geographic region, they can be seen at Wiki Loves Indian Cities, Wiki Explores Bhadrachalam, etc. There is a constant requirement for this tool and currently I have been relying on other Wikimedians to help-out for me. If I have access to the Campaign editor tool, it would save me a lot of time and will grant free hand to modify it quickly as per project requirement. I have gone through the guidelines for tool at upload wizard guidelines. --iMahesh (talk) 15:08, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done. ─ Aafī (talk) 21:03, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
